Well friends old & new, welcome to Magpie Annie – my jewellery business and “baby”. This is the first blog post for my brand new website. Magpie Annie is the product of lots of long days & late nights, falling asleep dreaming of wire & chain patterns, nursing sore fingers and cursing those tiny little wire rings when they just won’t co-operate.

I’ve learned to use a huge variety of pliers, cutters & power tools, to hammer wire into mad shapes, make, bake & drill beads…. it’s been quite an adventure so far and I do hope you’ll join me in the days & weeks to come as I learn new weaves & techniques.
